2nd Quality Congress Middle East:

Creating Architecture of Quality & Excellence in Middle East: Held in: The Cultural & Scientific Association, Dubai - UAE 6th to 9 th April, 2008

MEQA represents the reinforcement of the principles of Burj Al Arab Declaration which the Government of Dubai under the leadership of his H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid has initiated and signed to advocate a total commitment to transformational change and society based benefits.

MEQA operate as a non-profit organization. Its activities are devoted entirely to the promotion and dissemination of philosophy, theory, and practice in the field of quality. The main purpose of MEQA is to benefit economic growth and development in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and to facilitate free flow of information and exchange of best practices in the field of quality.

The architecture if quality and excellence deals with a set of systems, arrangements, resources and processes through which an organization creates a new bright future for itself. Lessons from the industrial countries explicitly suggest that it is the architecture of quality and excellence that differentiates a successful organization from other. How can organizations operating in the Middle East create a solid architecture or at least foundations based on the tenets of quality and excellence? The MEQA 2 nd Annual Congress will provide an international forum to address the various dimensions of the critical question facing organizations in the Middle East. Keynote addresses, research papers, case studies, practitioner viewpoints, poster presentations and submissions from doctoral students will be invited to this Congress.

Academic researchers and practitioners are kindly encouraged to submit papers for presentation.
