The Walk at Jumeira Beach Residence :Dubai: 17 August, 2008 – Dubai Retail , a subsidiary of Dubai Properties Group and a member of Dubai Holding, today announced The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai’s first and only outdoor retail avenue by the sea, is currently operational. The 1.7 km long shopping promenade currently hosts nearly 170 retailers and is set to soon reach the 305 mark. European fashion giant Zadig et Voltaire, Saks Fifth Avenue and Aiyanna of London are some of the top range brands that have opened for business at the beachfront development.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed University on the move!
After 7 years in the Dubai Police Department in Al Barsha, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University is now moving out of its present home to a brand new campus in Dubai International Academic city.
Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University will be the first UAE University to occupy premises in the DIAC. The new site is significantly larger, and will give our learners countless opportunities to meet students from the 32 other International universities that currently occupy the DIAC. The learners at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University to be in the world’s only Free Zone dedicated to higher education.
The DIAC is a regional base for premier international higher education institutions, it is the world’s first dedicated tertiary cluster development. Spread across 2 floors an area of 39,200 square foot at the DIAC, the new Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University campus will provide an intellectually inspiring environment for learners and faculty.
The movement is dictated by the expansion of the university programs and offerings which were also accompanied by considerable increase in the total number of learners. The new campus will accommodate anticipated and projected numbers of learners in the future.
This move is a huge project for us; we look forward to settling down in the new campus, and hope you like it, and feel at home in it.
