فمن هذا المنطلق قامت الصحفية نوف من جريدة الخليج بمقابلة مجموعة من دارسي الجامعة (يوم الاثنين الموافق 27 أبريل 2009) وكان محور المقابلة يدور حول سبب اختيار الدارسين لجامعتنا دوناً عن الجامعة الأخرى في الدولة، وما هي المميزات التي تقدمها الجامعة لدارسيها؟ وأخذت منهم توضيحاً لمعنى نظام التعليم الافتراضي أو التعليم عن بعد.. كذلك الوظائف التي سيشغلها خريجي الجامعة في المستقبل.. وخُتمت المقابلة بتصوير المشاركين، وهم:

Announced on the 30th March, 2009.
The purpose of the Learners’ Council is to represent learners and to communicate their views and opinions to HBMeU top management and administration. It also plays a key role in coordinating learners’ activities and representing HBMeU learners’ body internally and externally. The Learners from different academic programs and promotions are nominated and elected to serve as members of the Learners’ Council. The election of the Learners’ Council representatives is facilitated by Learners Services Unit.

3rd Student Conference at University of Sharjah “The University We Want”
1st – 2nd April, 2009
University of Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE.
The 3rd Student Conference at University of Sharjah “The University We Want” took place at Sharjah University between the 1st and 2nd of April, 2009. This conference was organized by Sharjah University and its main objectives were to create awareness among students, faculty members, and university’s administration, lead students to participate in the development and progress of their universities, create a network between universities inside the country and other universities of the Gulf countries, etc. the conference was about four main topics which are: 1. The university student, 2. Academic programs, 3. Academic environment, and 4. Students' projects.
Students from 29 different universities in the UAE and other Gulf countries like Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, KSA and Bahrain have participated in this conference presenting papers and presentations on various topics. During this conference around 90 presentations and research papers were presented and awards for the best research and the best presentation were organized.
Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Learners have won the first rank for the best research produced for their paper "THE REALITY OF VIRTUALITY IN HBM e-UNIVERSITY” "واقع بيئة التعليم الإفتراضي في جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية" and the second rank for the best presentation.
The winning team is from the Bachelor in Business and Quality Management Program, and they are: Amani Al Hajri, Maryam Ahli, Khalid Al Reyaisi, Abdul Moniem Al Zidi, and Abdulla Al Kaabi.

(لأول مرة في جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية حملة ركاز (فاز من حياته إنجاز
في أجواء يملؤها التميز، أقيمت للمرة الأولى ضمن فعاليات حملة ركاز ( فاز من حياته إنجاز ) محاضره بعنوان "ثقافة التميز والإنجاز" للمهندس/ علي غانم الطويل-ممثل دارسي الدراسات العليا في جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية في تمام الساعة الثانية مساءً يوم الاثنين الموافق 27-4-2009 في مقر جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية.
وقد حضرهذه الفعالية طلبة الجامعة وأساتذتها الكرام، وسلط الضوء على جوانب جميلة جدا في مجال التميز مثل: إعطاء نبذه قصيرة عن مفهوم التميز وشرح مفصل عن معالم التميز و المعايير التي تستند عليها التميز في الإرتقاء و كيفيه الإستمتاع بالتميز وما هي العواصف السلبية التي تهدد شمعة التميز وبذلك يبدأ المهندس علي بتقديم ثلاث باقات شكر وعرفان ،وجهه الأولى منها الى مشروع ركاز ، والثانية للحضور، والثالثة الأيدي المجهوله الساعية لتحقيق الحمله لينطلق بعد ذلك الى محاور المحاضره
ولقد تفاعل االحضور كثيرا مع ما طرح من معلومات ونصائح وقصص ممزوجة بالفكاهة والحقيقة في هذا الزمان.
وفي نهاية المحاضره سلم الدكتور محمود حاج أحمد - عميد الشؤون الأكاديمية وخدمات الدارسين درع وشهاده تقدير للمحاضر،واختتمت المحاضره بعرض الفلم المميز للأخ/ وليد الشحي وهو بعنوان (وجوه ونوافذ) وبهذا اختتمت فعالية ركاز في جامعة حمدان بن محمد الالكترونية...

Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University organizes its 3rd Annual Quality Congress Middle East and First e-Health Conference entitled "e-Health: The Virtual Dimensions of Health and Environment". From 6th - 9th April 2009, at The Cultural & Scientific Association, Dubai, UAE.
A group of learners has participated to help the university staff in organizing both conferences.
- Learners helped to welcome the guests and guide them.
- Learners helped in registration process.
- Learners provided good information about the university in the programs' booth.
- Learners cooperated positively with the university staff members.
- Learners acted friendly with the audience.
- Learners presented the university very well.
- Learners gained very good experience and enjoyed working as one team with university staff members.
