Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, organized the Third End of Year Learners Social Gathering for the 2009-2010 graduates, on Thursday June 18th at the Intercontinental Hotel, Festival City in Dubai.

Through organizing this event, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University aims at strengthening the social bonds between learners, teachers, Alumni and faculty members at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University.
Dr. Narimane Hadj Hamou, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs said: “This ceremony is a great opportunity for members of Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, whether faculty, Alumni, staff or learners, to get acquainted, and familiarize themselves with each other, especially since Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-university offers online educations which does not require physical attendance, that usually is the main drive behind daily face to face interactions. Therefore we value these types of events that enhance the relationship between us all, and create a family atmosphere.”

During the ceremony, learners who excelled academically in 2008-2009 were honoured, as well as learners who made outstanding achievements through their active participation in conferences and competitions at the state level. Also those who participated in organizing activities and events within the university and at the state level, were recognized for their great efforts and dedication.
